We are thrilled that you are interested in helping in our mission by volunteering your services to help others. Without volunteers like you we would not be able to provide services to those who need them. You make a difference in our community with your generosity and kindness There are many ways to get involved.
How you can help
Meal Providers
Meal providers are needed nightly at The Community Inn. You can call or check our online calendar for available nights.
Workshop Providers
Workshop providers and/or meal providers for our workshops are needed for the third Tuesday of every month.
Mentors
Mentors for our Transitional families are provided training on befriending a family in our program and supporting their goals, encouraging their efforts and offering advice.
Preparing Transitional Homes
Volunteers can also help to set up Transitional Houses for new families entering the program. This includes cleaning the home, making beds and helping to move in new furnishings. Transitional Homes also require regular maintenance such as new paint or minor repairs. This could also be a volunteer opportunity.
Office & Warehouse Support
The office and warehouse have opportunities to assist with organizing donations, greeting guests, folding and stuffing mailings and fundraiser assistance.
